We are in a conservation area and will need planning permission to change the front garden.
Planning applications cost money!

Thus it is sensible to have a clear sense of what is likely to be passed first time.
Plans will have to be drawn by the architect to submit with the planning application.

These also cost money.

We can have pre-planning consultations before a formal proposal to get advice on what is most likely to be acceptable. Before that WE need to be clear what changes we are proposing.

The hope is to create something which will be

* appropriate to Quaker principles and our Meeting in particular

* acceptable in the locality and contribute to the community.

Two ideas are presented for your comments [brief please!]

Feel free to ‘mix and match’ from both designs.

Please ask for clarification about anything
