If you are coming by public transport the following information may be helpful-Bus Services to Gosforth High Street from the city centre
Stagecoach service 30 & 31 from Berwick Street opposite the Railway Station, or Grainger Street.
30, 31 or 35 also pick up at Pilgrim Street opposite the old Odeon Cinema, of from St Mary’s place, Barrass Bridge near the Haymarket. Journey time is around 15 minutes.
The nearest Metro Station is South Gosforth, head West until you reach Gosforth High Street, then turn into West Avenue at the Trinity Church. The meeting house is on the left next to the Magistrates' Court.
The car park to the rear of the Meeting House is for the use of ‘blue badge’ holders or those conveying disabled Friends or Attenders only.
The car park off Gosforth High Street (behind the former Post Office) is free all day on a Sunday.
Parking is also available on the roof car park above the Sainsbury supermarket.

Some Notes on the Building
The original building was designed by architects Hicks and Charlewood in 1898 as a men's club in the Queen Anne style. In 1922 the building was extended and was opened as a Masonic Lodge in 1925.
The conversion to the new Quaker Meeting House for Newcastle upon Tyne has been carried out by Newcastle architects Napper and contractors Koru, and has included removal of the 1920's extensions to the rear of the building. The adapted and renovated building meets the requirements of the Newcastle Quakers for a place of worship and for social and community activities within a building designed to have low envirronmental impact. The restoration makes a significant contribution to the historic suburban character of West Avenue within Gosforth Conservation Area.
Improvements to the frontage of the new Meeting House will continue as funds become available.
