Newcastle Friends welcome students and other young people to the meeting.  If you feel the Quaker community is for you, then come along to the Meeting House and attend one of our activities.

Meeting for Worship

Our main meeting is held every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.  Generally, every third Sunday of the month meeting is followed by lunch which is provided by groups within the meeting.  The lunch is an excellent opportunity to get to know others in a relaxed informal atmosphere.

In addition there are early morning meetings held on the second, fourth and fifth (if there is one) Sundays of each month, at 8:00 a.m. which is followed by breakfast.

If morning meetings are just too early for you then we hold an evening meeting on the last Sunday of each month at 6:00 p.m.  This meeting is designed to appeal to all ages and includes an activity and a meal.  The activities range from arts and crafts to music to local walks.  The meal is usually home made soup followed by puddings provided by those taking part.

Please go to the Forcoming Events page to check the dates of the above activities.
